Job Description

A fast-growing pipe manufacturing company is seeking a Grinding Machine Operator to support continuous production by preparing and operating grinding equipment according to required specifications. The ideal candidate is a dependable and detail-oriented manufacturing professional with experience in machine operation and workflow efficiency. Working under minimal supervision, the new team member will ensure uninterrupted production by accurately grinding pipes, identifying and reporting equipment issues, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
                               
Schedule:

  • Rotating Shifts – Employees will rotate between day and night shifts every 6 weeks
  • Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Must be available to work 12-hour shifts, including some weekends as needed

Type of Position: Temp-to-Hire

Responsibilities:
  • Operate machinery grinding and transporting the product to support continuous workflow.
  • Inspect equipment conditions (machinery) to identify any issue.
  • Set up and prepare the machinery for any issue in the machinery report immediately to the supervisor.
  • Identify pipe information to have the specifications required.
  • Validate the information of the pipe before action taken.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment on the workstation.
  • Determine and report all machine malfunctions and potential defects to an appropriate Supervisor.

Requirements:
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Solid understanding of industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience in SAP/GURUSOFT system (basic) required
  • Bilingual or proficiency in a foreign language preferred
