Job Description

A leading provider of framed and unframed wall decorations is looking for a General Manager to oversee the efficiency and quality of its operations. The ideal candidate is an adept problem solver with a strong grasp of business operations and financial principles. Working cross-functionally, the new leader will meet business goals through strategic planning, performance enhancement, and process optimization while upholding the company’s mission and fundamental values.

Salary: Depends on experience
Location: Houston, TX
Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:
  • Strategy: Formulate strategy, improve performance, and strategize process improvements.
  • Manage inventory levels.
  • Execute projects from start to finish.
  • Create and implement strategies.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing and sales, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve tools and systems.

Requirements:
  • A good understanding of all parts of an organization and have personal qualities such as business and financial acumen, knowledge of relevant laws and trends, and being confident, assertive, motivated, determined, and process-driven
  • Passion for Art
  • Solid understanding of business in general
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Strong work ethic
  • True problem solver
  • Understand systems and systems integration
  • Experience with NetSuite (would be a huge bonus)
  • Organized, self-motivated, and effective communicator
