Job Description

A fast-growing pipe manufacturing company is seeking a General Laborer to support daily production operations and ensure a clean, efficient, and safe work environment. The ideal candidate is a dependable and physically capable team player with a strong work ethic and basic manufacturing experience. Working under minimal supervision, the new team member will contribute to operational flow by maintaining raw material levels, assisting across departments, and reporting equipment issues while adhering to safety standards and completing tasks with attention to detail.

Schedule:           

  • Rotating Shifts – Employees will rotate between day and night shifts every 6 weeks
  • Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Must be available to work 12-hour shifts, including some weekends as needed

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in indicated areas. Maintain raw materials fully stock.
  • Inspect equipment conditions (machinery) to identify any issue.
  • Identify pipe information to have the specifications required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the workstation.


Requirements:

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
  • High school degree or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeships is a plus
  • State licensure to work with hazardous materials preferred but not required; union certification preferred but not required
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Must be comfortable climbing up tall ladders, working at elevated levels
  • Positive attitude and work ethic
  • Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
  • English and Spanish fluency a plus
  • Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure that equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly
