A worldwide leader in the manufacturing & distribution industry is seeking a Floor Production Manager who will be responsible for planning, coordination, and controlling the manufacturing processes. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter leader with in-depth knowledge of production procedures and excellent management skills. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the new manager will drive operational excellence by ensuring production efficiency & productivity while maintaining the highest level of safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

• Oversee production process and schedule.
• Ensure production efficiency and quality.
• Make sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality.
• Determine shop capacity and required resources based on production requirements.
• Monitor production levels and adjust as needed to meet demand.
• Manage facility to meet performance and financial goals.
• Implement and enforce company policies.
• Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed.
• Direct and engage the production team, including scheduling, order processing, expediting, and supervision.
• Review and measure shop performance against company goals.
• Identify training needs.

• Upper education and extended experience preferred
• Knowledge of production management, operation management, mechanical engineering, and process engineering
