Job Description

A fast-growing company specializing in security solutions is seeking a Field Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain various security systems. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, including experience with low voltage systems, wiring, and basic networking. Communicating effectively, the new team member will ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by diagnosing and resolving issues while maintaining high service standards.

Salary + Additional Benefits:

$65,000-$75,000
Annual Bonus, Per Diem

Location: Remote
Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:

Install and maintain multiple types of access control systems.
Have an understanding and the ability to troubleshoot low voltage systems, networks, and computers.
Have solid computer & typing skills and can use Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer, Excel, & Word.
Be a highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently as well as in group settings.
Have experience using electronic test equipment.
Can use hand tools and small power tools.
Have good verbal and written communications skills.
Can read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions as well as update and create.
Install components, units, and printed electronic boards following specifications.
Must be able and willing to travel.
We do provide on the job training and acquire any needed certifications for field technicians.

Requirements:

5-7 years in trade school or equivalent experience
Associate degree or higher preferably in low voltage systems
3+ years of experience required
3 years customer service experience preferred
The ability to learn, troubleshoot, communicate, and be on time
Team player and have a driven personality
Certifications in the technology industry is a plus
Low level electrical license is a plus
Must be able to travel for long periods of time
Must be able to pass a E-Verify Check, and be able to obtain a Security Clearance
