Job Description
A leading network cabling installation services company is seeking an Estimator to support the development of competitive project bids. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented estimating professional with experience reviewing technical documentation and pricing complex work. Working collaboratively, the new hire will contribute to business growth by preparing accurate estimates, supporting proposal development, and coordinating with internal teams while ensuring quality, consistency, and timely execution.

Responsibilities:
- Work on high-impact DAS and structured cabling projects.
- Collaborate directly with Sales and Operations leadership.
- Be part of a growing company with career advancement opportunities.
- Gain exposure to larger, more complex bid and design-build work.
- Make a direct impact on project success and company growth.
- Develop accurate cost estimates for DAS and structured cabling projects.
- Review RFPs, drawings, specifications, and scope documents.
- Create professional, competitive proposals that help win new business.
- Support award handoffs and transition projects smoothly to Operations.
- Assist with shop drawings, labeling plans, and post-award documentation.
- Maintain strong communication with customers and internal teams.
- Uphold company standards of safety, quality, and professionalism.
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of estimating experience in low-voltage, telecom, DAS, or structured cabling
- Strong knowledge of bid strategy, job costing, and construction documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven
- Strong communication and customer service mindset
