Responsibilities:
- Collect, review, and verify MTRs provided by suppliers through our vendor portal.
- Liaise with Purchasing and our suppliers to secure needed amendments or missing documents.
- Review the specs of each document against the physical stamping of product received before attaching the documents to inventory in our ERP platform.
- Learn about products, applications, and manufacturing processes to better understand the importance of MTRs.
- For product machined at our facilities, make the required adjustments to final MTRs.
- Receive and answer MTR-related requests received via e-mail and phone.
- Assist with the review and verification of import shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, supplier templates, and certificates of origin.
- Assist with transportation bids and RFP projects for negotiating freight rates and lane volumes.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
- Customer service and/or data entry experience within an industrial company required
- Proficient with PDF readers and editing software
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word
- Experience with ERP platforms preferred
- Proven ability to think independently and handle multiple projects through to completion
