Job Description
An industry pioneer and foremost innovator in designing, building, and managing VOC and HAP emissions control strategies is looking for a Director of Operations to provide leadership and facilitate the strategic vision & growth of the operations group. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking, motivational leader with excellent communication and knows safety & human resource protocols management. Working cross-functionally, the new director will meet/exceed operational and financial objectives through effective leadership and accountability while ensuring safety, productivity, financial profitability, and best-in-class performance.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage operations team as part of Company Core Values in all aspects as it relates to employees, clients, vendors, and other team members.
- Provide leadership and guidance for implementation of the Company Safety Program and hold Territories and Service Lines responsible for 100% compliance and continued growth and education of the Company safety culture.

- Responsible for the management of operations & administrative functions.
- Enhance customer relationships.
- Drive market growth.
- Responsible for administrative management to include but not limited to:
- System implementation of ERP systems, including Field Ticketing, Asset Management, Project Tracking, Purchase Order system, QMS Inspections, Safety & DOT documents.
- Manage companywide operations staff, prepare asset management schedules and assign specific duties. Cross train and blend territory personnel to effectively execute all service lines.
- Responsible for Tier System management and continued growth to encompass new service lines, SOPs, and job tasks to cover all field employees to support personal development and retention and recruitment of employees.
- Review Management Reports to include but not limited to: Financial Reports, A/R Reports, Employee Utilization Reports, Equipment Utilization Reports.
- Responsible for Operations Management to include but not limited to:
- Training/Mentoring/Coaching of Territory Managers at all levels on a consistent basis
- Periodic Job & shop audits quality assessment
- Knowledge of available inventory and timeline of availability all assets across company
- Customer engagement to confirm performance meets expectations
- Short- and Long-term Personnel and Asset Management Planning
- Responsible for sales engagement to include but not limited to:
- Work with EVP Sales and Director of Sales to support all sales initiatives and revenue opportunities to close and execute business.
- Monthly joint customer calls to evaluate service performance
- Understanding of sales pipeline and forward-looking planning
- Ensure customer expectations are being met and exceeded
- Ensure Sales awareness of operation constraints are understood and communicated appropriately.
- Periodic joint sales calls
- Take the bullet for salesman if necessary.
- Responsible for Safety Management to include but not limited to:
- Manage any major safety, vehicular, or environmental incidents including:
- Coordination with Territory Managers
- Coordination with Director of Safety
- Meeting with Clients as part of Incident Investigation as needed
- Review Root Cause Analysis
- Leadership with TM, HR and Safety for any discipline matters
- Review with staff any procedure changes that are developed from investigations
- Review and provide input to company safety objectives, audit, and ensure compliance with: JSA’s, DOT, conformance to SOPs, providing necessary tools, don’t put off what needs to be done, leading by example, Safety Observation Program, Safety Committee participation.
- Work side by side with Safety Management team to come up with reasonable, safe solutions that works best for the company.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in the Environmental/Industrial Services to the Upstream/Downstream Field
- Managed a business P&L over $5M annually
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Experience presenting to large audiences which includes company and clients
- Experience in managing Safety and Human Resource Protocols
- Preferred location for this position is at Texas or Louisiana branches
