Job Description
A fast-growing automotive company is looking for a Director of Accounting to oversee its accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with an extensive knowledge of accounting, financial, and business fundamentals withing the automotive industry. Collaborating closely with the accounting team, the new director will aid in achieving business objectives by bringing a blend of strategic vision and operational excellence while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee budgeting, taxes, accounting, purchasing, real estate, and insurance activities.
- Maintain relationships with financial institutions regarding lines of credit and funds management.
- Maintain close working relationships with legal counsel to ensure that all dealership financial activities are properly conducted, documented, and reported.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- CPA certification preferred
- Working knowledge of CDK
- Self-motivated, team leader, excellent communication skills
- Honest and trustworthy
- Background in the automotive industry
- Experience with acquisitions is a plus
