Job Description
A fast-growing business processing outsourcing firm/asset management group is looking for a Corporate Analyst to collect and analyze complex business data, review trends and shifts in the market, develop models and reports based on the analysis, and provide financial support and key performance metrics to management. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with advanced finance knowledge and a strong understanding of business practices & strategies. Reporting to the CEO, the new team member will meet/exceed business objectives through effective collaboration & analysis.

Location: The Woodlands, TX

Responsibilities:
- Identify economic/general issues with potential economic impact.
- Research and analyze data on sales, acquisitions, trends.
- Analyze companies’ business models, financial projections, deal structures, industry dynamics, and investment merits through direct collaboration with CEO.
- Design and implement ways to minimize monetary investment risks.
- Conduct performance analysis of existing assets as well as compilation and interpretation of market data to support assumptions.
- Analyze and underwrite potential acquisition opportunities and existing asset restructurings/dispositions.
- Create financial models to evaluate potential new development or investments opportunities. Models include project and portfolio level performance and structured finance.
- Create financial models to evaluate investment alternatives and exit strategies with operating costs/revenue and income streams.
- Actively participate in the due diligence process for new financing transactions by analyzing company filings, financial statements, diligence reports, equity/credit research, attending management presentations and diligence calls.
- Summarize and present findings and recommendations succinctly.
- Drive key initiatives in support of the financial objectives.
- Perform ad-hoc special projects/analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- 3+ years relatable experience
- Strong ability to work and thrive within a team environment and independently
- Ability to maintain all information with the highest degree of confidentiality
- Advanced finance knowledge with strong understanding of business practices and strategies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong critical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, NetSuite
