Manufacturing company in SW Houston is seeking a Divisional Controller to join their team!

Location: SW Houston - Onsite
Salary: $140,000-$150,000
Type: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:

• Manage all primary reporting to support division. 
• Income statement, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, year-end preparation, payroll and all other ad hoc financial reporting. 
• Responsible for accurate cost allocations and effective cash flow management for three divisions. 
• Strategic planning to enable business teams to drive profitability for the division.
• Maintain customer administrative relationships and identify opportunities to produce enhanced financial results,
• Make significant contribution(s) to maintain long term customer relationships.
• Intercompany submissions and timelines will figure prominently in period (monthly, quarterly, year-end) reporting. 
• The ability to work effectively with other financial teams will be critical to the candidate’s success.  

• BA Degree in Accounting/Finance required
• CPA Required
• Experience in the distribution or manufacturing industry
• Strong working experience in GAAP
• 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience
• 3-5 of experience managing a team of finance professionals 
• Import/Export transactional exposure
• Exposure working with inter-company financial reporting structures
