Job Description
A fast-growing provider of quality calibration and metrology equipment is looking for a Calibration Technician – Mid Level to conduct calibration work at customer on-site. The ideal candidate is committed to safety and knows calibration processes and best practices. Working with autonomy, the new team member will improve operational efficiency by effectively performing job functions while observing necessary safety precautions and maintaining calibration standards.

Responsibilities:
- Perform own calibration work with little to no supervision.
- Conduct own research when necessary.
- Coordinate and manage daily workloads without direction from manager.
- Conduct calibration work at customer on-sites with little to no direction.
- Work with lab support staff.
- Understand and apply uncertainties to measurements made.
- Maintain calibration standards.
- Perform functions within a laboratory or customer onsite setting.
Requirements:
- Experience in PMEL, PME, TMDE, Metrology, Calibration, ASQ CCT, METCAL, GPETE, Electronics, GCAMS, or Avionics highly desired
- Ability to calibrate higher-level equipment and calibrate equipment across a couple labs
- Experience in dimensional, physical (leak, mass, torque, etc.), or electrical calibration; onsite calibration up to 50%; may start in Electrical, Dimensional, or Physical lab (Pressure, torque, mass, leak, etc.) – depending on background
- Able to read and interpret labs' scopes of accreditation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
