Job Description
A well-established custom spring manufacturing company is seeking a CNC Wireforming Operator to set up and operate all wireforming equipment. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator with a thorough understanding and proficiency in wireforming equipment. Reporting directly to the Wireforming Department Supervisor, the new team member will contribute to operational excellence by efficiently performing job functions in line with the company’s safety policies and the machine manufacturer’s written manuals and guidelines.

Responsibilities:
- Comply with all safety standards and rules including proper PPE.
- Maintain clean & organized work area.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all assigned machines.
- Achieve standard of 100% efficiency.
- Follow & utilize Misquote Work Instructions.  Â
- Comply with all quality standards and rules, including properly filling out first article reports and following Charting Working Instructions.
- Achieve standard of one (1) or less internal rejects per quarter.Â
- Has complete understanding of reporting requirements by properly following JobBoss Workstation Driver Working Instructions.
- Complete understanding and competence of wireforming equipment (Itaya, HTC, Nucoil & Xinda).
- Complete understanding and competence of all shot peen equipment.
- Limit scrap material to a minimum.
- Assist with the training of operators as directed by supervisor to produce high level results.
Requirements:
- Forklift License
- Must be punctual and timely in meeting all requirements of performance, including, but not limited to, attendance standards and work deadlines, beginning and ending assignments on time, and scheduled work breaks where applicable
- Problem Solving - Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; Gather and analyze information skillfully; Develop alternative solutions; Work well in group problem solving situations
- Technical Skills - Assess own strengths and weaknesses; Pursue training and development opportunities; Strive to continuously build knowledge and skills; Share expertise with others
- Communication - Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Safety and Security – responsible for observing safety and security procedures as applicable and reporting potentially unsafe conditions to management
