Job Description

A leading provider of premium engineered bolting solutions is seeking a CNC Grinder to operate and maintain precision grinding machines for high-quality metal components. The ideal candidate is experienced in turbomachinery and precision grinding, with a strong understanding of GD&T. Working with attention to detail, the new team member will improve operational efficiency by producing components to exact specifications while maintaining high-quality standards and supporting production goals.

Location: Houston, TX 77035
Type of Position: Temp-to-Hire
Hours: Monday - Friday 5AM - 1:30PM

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Knowledge in setting up, editing, & programming to achieve desired tolerances and finishes.
Measure and inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
O.D. precision grinder in Turbomachinery.
Maintain and clean equipment to ensure efficient performance.
Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
Have own tools.
Perform other duties that may be assigned

Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of Precision Grinding & Turbomachinery experience
GD&T experience required
Experience with turbine engine / compressor center studs, tie bolts, etc. required
