Job Description
A fast-growing turn-key environmental services and technology provider is looking for a Global Licensing and Business Development Manager to lead the domestic and international sales efforts for refining and sulfur technologies. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with a strong understanding of plant design, technology sales, and plant operations. Communicating effectively, the new team member will drive sustainable sales growth by developing business development strategies focused on financial gain & customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for coordinating in-house sales activities, including proposals and coordination among business units.
- Market assessment for new technologies.
- Prepare presentation materials, suited for the local clientele.
- Negotiate contracts and conclude sales.
- Measure and monitor sales progress.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, or equivalent degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- 10 years minimum of experience in plant design, technology sales, or plant operations for refining and petrochemical production plants; must have solid understanding of these industries and the interaction among the process units
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Understanding of the cultural norms for doing business across the globe
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); must be familiar with process simulators (Aspen Plus, Hysys, Pro/II™)
- The home office for this job is Houston, Texas. The job will entail some travel to clients’ business sites and conference venues. The employee should be able to reasonably manage a travel schedule and adapt to different time zones.
