Location: Houston, TX
Type of Position: Direct Hire
- Manage, hire, and motivate an amazing team in various roles, from sales and service to maintenance and drivers.
- Ensure enthusiastic and informed customer service.
- Build a profitable location with business and management skills, ambition, and competitive spirit.
- Manage overall branch operations to ensure safety, productivity, customer service, and profitability.
- Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives to ensure profitability and efficiency.
- Prepare reports, including profit and loss statements, monthly operating reviews, yearly budgets, and other reports detailing operational status.
- Manage personnel.
- Oversee all safety matters, including audits, safety training, OSHA compliance, DOT regulations.
- Perform other duties assigned as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of successful business management experience with profit and loss responsibility at a branch or other individual profit center
- An understanding of business accounting principles and budget preparation
- Strong sales and customer service experience required, outside sales experience preferred
- Effective leadership, motivational, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office
- Knowledge and experience in the equipment rental industry preferred
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
