Job Description
A well-established construction company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support daily accounting operations. This is an in-office position suitable for a candidate with a strong background in QuickBooks Online and job costing, preferably within the construction or manufacturing industry.
Location: Manvel, TX, in office
Salary: $19-23/hr
Type of Position: Temp-to-Hire
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Online.
- Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Support payroll processes.
- Perform accurate job costing and assist with progress billing.
- Generate financial reports for management review.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with team members while working independently in a small office environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping (construction or manufacturing background preferred)
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online
- Strong understanding of job costing principles
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated with excellent follow-up and communication skills
- Familiarity with project-based accounting is a plus
