Job Description

A well-established high-end retailer is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations, drive sales, and foster a positive shopping environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong retail management experience and a passion for fashion and customer service.

Salary + Additional Benefits:

$50,000 + commission

Responsibilities:

Team leadership and development: Inspire and support team members by reinforcing core values, recognizing contributions, and holding them accountable for sales and operational standards.
Sales and customer engagement: Foster strong relationships with customers to create an inviting shopping experience while coaching the team on styling, product knowledge, and selling techniques.
Operational efficiency: Assign and prioritize tasks to improve productivity, ensure proper staffing, manage shift changes, and maintain scheduling needs.
Business communication: Share key business insights, sales results, and buyer feedback with the team to align with company objectives.
Visual and marketing execution: Uphold visual merchandising standards and keep the team informed about marketing efforts, including events, emails, trunk shows, and client appointments.
Strategic sales oversight: Maximize sales floor opportunities, drive key performance indicators, and provide actionable feedback to improve overall performance.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years in retail management or supervisory roles with a strong leadership presence.
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
Physically capable of moving throughout the store, assisting customers, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
Tech-savvy and engaged with industry trends, blogs, and digital tools.
A collaborative team player who fosters a respectful, supportive, and results-driven environment.
A positive and adaptable leader who prioritizes both team and customer needs with professionalism.
Passionate about fashion and style, serving as a knowledgeable brand ambassador.
