Job Description
A nationally recognized plaintiffs’ firm has an immediate need for a Trial Paralegal with 3+ years of trial experience. Working with four attorneys, this person must have in-depth knowledge of plaintiff personal injury litigation and exceptional communication skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include; client contact, communicating with experts, organization and maintenance of case files, drafting legal documents and correspondence, calendaring, and weekly meetings. This new hire will drive business efficiency by performing all the tasks with excellence and professionalism while following company standards. Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct secondary discussions with potential personal injury claimants.
- Draft correspondence for attorneys, clients, and experts.
- Significant travel for depositions and trials.
- Order/track medical records.
- Update case management software.
- Manage calendar deadlines and other pertinent dates.
- Provide extensive document review.
- Prepare intermediate medical summaries.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal with trial experience is required
- Must be proficient with case management software, Needles
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle an abundance of case files
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work with accuracy in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Must be able to work onsite in Houston, TX
- Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time
