Job Description

A well-established commercial real estate company is seeking a Lease Administrator to manage the execution, tracking, and ongoing administration of commercial lease agreements. The ideal candidate is a detail-driven, proactive professional with a deep understanding of lease documentation and workflows. Working collaboratively, the new team member will contribute to efficient portfolio management by ensuring lease data accuracy and timely document processing while supporting internal teams and client communications in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Houston, TX
Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:
  • Draft, revise, and finalize lease agreements for New Development and 3rd Party properties.
  • Review and analyze redlines; circulate finalized documents for execution.
  • Maintain up-to-date templates for leases, LOIs, amendments, and other standard documents.
  • Save and organize fully executed lease-related documents across digital systems.
  • Collect and verify supporting documentation, including payments and tenant identification, to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Administer and maintain DocuSign account for Leasing, New Development, and Property Management departments.
  • Maintain and update leasing data in Yardi, including property and tenant onboarding, amendments, terminations, renewals, and space changes.
  • Manage task workflows and deadlines using Asana.
  • Maintain Exclusivity Abstracts and development-specific checklists for New Development properties.
  • Distribute fully executed lease documents to internal departments and tenants.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely communication and document handling throughout the leasing process.

Requirements:
  • High School (required); College Graduate (preferred)
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Professional demeanor and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Yardi and DocuSign highly preferred
  • Strong formatting, proofing, and document preparation skills
  • Basic math skills for lease calculations and data input
