Job Description

A well-established manufacturing company specializing in steel welded wire mesh for concrete products is looking for an Administrative Coordinator to facilitate and correctly complete various administrative tasks. This is a perfect opportunity for an excellent communicator who knows office administration procedures & policies. Working collaboratively, the new team member will ensure operational efficiency by executing all administrative activities with confidentiality, professionalism, and organizational effectiveness.

Location: Houston, TX 77045
Type of Position: Direct Hire 

Responsibilities:
  • Daily Reporting: Steel BOL’s received enter in QuickBooks
  • Steel Usage Tags – coils date used on current inventory BOL’s, copied, total by size, enter adjustment into QuickBooks
  • Invoice from BOL shipped
  • Double check QuickBooks or any discrepancies from Inventory Valuation Summary and Quantity on Hand by Site Reports
  • Send Daily Reports to AZ Office
  • Petty Cash, send to AZ monthly
  • Checking, send to AZ with copy of check with backup
  • Providing inventory reporting support - single size cycle. counts each week; Verify against QuickBooks reports and open Steel Received BOL’s.
  • Ensure office and vendor machines are stocked.
  • Order any equipment or PPE as needed.
  • Assist with any clerical duties as needed.
  • New Hire, Terminations, Payroll changes paperwork at local level; Onboarding paperwork.
  • General office organization such as maintaining plants, stocking and inventory of office & janitorial supplies.
  • Create UPS/FedEx shipment labels.
  • Maintain and handle all issues with utilities, IT, etc.
  • Answer phones, mail, office deliveries, office shipments, vendors/customers.
  • Assist sales department with general clerical support and assistance with order processing when needed.

Requirements: 
  • 3+ years of administrative support experience; preferably office management experience
  • Experience handling BOLs
  • Willingness to assist with special projects as neede
  • QuickBooks and MS Office Suite experience 
  • Bilingual - Spanish/English
