Job Description

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a Sales Support Admin to join their growing team. This individual will work in a collaborative, team-oriented office environment. This role is responsible for providing administrative and customer service support to the Operations Manager and Sales Representatives, while efficiently managing client orders and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.

Salary: $18–$21/hr 
Location: South Houston, TX 
Type of Position: Temp-to-Hire 

Responsibilities: 

  • Enter sales orders into enterprise software, print and file them in sales log. 
  • Take sales calls, routing calls to proper salesman or distributor. 
  • Assist sales with customer quotes. 
  • Send customer confirmations on all orders received. 
  • Create Bills of Lading for all orders. 
  • Coordinate freight pick-ups and daily UPS shipments. 
  • Create and send out tab data to customers. 
  • Maintain tracking of serial number log. 
  • Respond to and/or assist with customer calls and emails for inquiries, order information and/or information on products, etc. 
  • Responsible for freight vendor negotiations. 
  • Manage end of month invoicing. 
  • Perform additional tasks as required. 

Requirements: 
  • Minimum 3 years Customer Service and/or Logistics experience 
  • Data entry experience 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization 
  • Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word 
  • Type +40 wpm 
  • Pays strict attention to detail 
  • Collaborative team player with a hands-on work ethic 
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred 
  • Must be able to maintain complete confidentiality 
  • Self-starter who can display independent judgement 
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and within deadlines
