Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Description
Pay: $21-25/hr
Location: Humble, TX
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Responsibilities:
- Manage and update customer accounts, consistently monitoring outstanding balances and payment histories.
- Review customer remittances and match them with outstanding invoices.
- Verify payment details, including checks, wire transfers, and credit card transactions, to ensure they align with the amount due.
- Quickly identify and resolve payment discrepancies by collaborating with customers to address any issues or disputes.
- Effectively communicate any accounts receivable concerns to the Controller.
- Prepare and generate AR reports, including aging reports, cash receipts summaries, and any required ad hoc reports.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of full cycle Accounts Receivable
- AR experience in the manufacturing industry required
- Experience working in ERP systems; preferably IQMS
- Advanced MS Excel required
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
