Job Description
A growing consulting company is seeking a Senior Accountant/Analyst to oversee accounting operations while providing data-driven insights that guide strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical skills, a solid foundation in GAAP, and experience bridging accounting and financial analysis.
Working closely with the CFO and CEO, the new hire will contribute to financial accuracy and business growth by managing month-end close and reporting, building financial models, and translating data into actionable strategies while supporting long-term planning and operational efficiency.

Location:Â Oklahoma City, OK
Type of Position: Direct Hire
Responsibilities:
- Lead the month-end close process and ensure accurate financial reporting across the organization.
- Prepare and analyze budget vs. actual performance reports and assisting in forecasting.
- Develop and maintain pricing models, analyze margin data, and identify areas for improvement.
- Work with operational teams to understand business drivers and translate them into actionable financial insights.
- Perform account reconciliations, journal entries, and cash flow analysis.
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning, using financial data to inform key decisions.
- Enhance internal reporting processes and creating dashboards or reports to increase visibility into financial performance.
- Ensure accounts payable and receivable processes are optimized and timely.
- Assist with year-end activities and tax preparation support.
- Participate in process improvement and automation projects within the finance function.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
- Demonstrated experience with data analysis, financial modeling, and business reporting
- High proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling) and experience with QuickBooks or similar software
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- Discretion and integrity in handling sensitive financial information
- CPA designation or progress toward CPA certification
- Experience in payroll processing and tax report filing
- Familiarity with e-commerce, retail, or Amazon Seller Central is a plus
- Experience using business intelligence tools or financial reporting platforms
- Love numbers and know how to turn them into actionable insights
