Job Description
A global leader in manufacturing, rental, and repair solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead core accounting functions and support financial decision-making. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and analytical professional with experience in financial reporting and reconciliation. Working collaboratively, the successful candidate will strengthen accounting operations by preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and supporting audits while identifying process improvements and contributing to budgeting and forecasting efforts.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial transactions and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Prepare monthly closing journal entries and accruals.
- Prepare monthly Income Statement MOM analysis and email copy to each district manager for review and input.
- Perform other accounting duties and support junior staff as required or assigned.
- Evaluate workflow processes and procedures to develop, recommend and implement procedural and system changes to increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist with annual audit preparations.
- Invest and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
- Prepare revenue projections and forecast expenditure.
- Assist with preparing and monitoring budgets with review of management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within a similar industry
- Intermediate to advanced Excel Skills
- IFRS experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work with little to no supervision
- Reconciliations and Fixed Assests experience is a plus
- Fixed Assets experience is a plus
- SAP experience is a plus
