Job Description
Salary: $55,000 - $60,000
Location: Humble, TX – On-Site
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Process accounts payable invoices, issue payments, and reconcile vendor statements.
- Generate and send customer invoices and follow up on overdue accounts receivable.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly
- Monitor and analyze expenses, identify variances, and recommend cost-saving measures where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay up to date on changes in accounting standards and regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the accounting department.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- 2-3 years of experience in a full cycle accounting role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is a must; Ajera preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
