Job Description
A leader in surplus solutions for oil & gas companies is looking for an Account Manager to support the Sales, Purchasing, and Marketing departments. This exciting opportunity is perfect for someone who enjoys working hand in hand with customers.

- $50,000-$65,000
- Up to 20% bonus potential
- 100% paid benefits for employee AND dependents

Location: West Houston, TX
Type of Position: Temp to Hire
Responsibilities:
- Support Outside Sales.
- Work with customers directly – both verbally and in person.
- Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty.
- Follow up on cold and warm leads to further the sales & purchasing processes.
- Explore additional sources of supply.
- Discover customer’s needs and offer solutions.
- Actively solicit company owned material.
- Quote inquiries, release material, expedite purchases/sales/transfers, etc.
- Collect outbound paperwork and necessary paperwork and submit to accounting.
- Research and determine alternate uses for various oilfield material.
- Assist in working trade shows and other industry events.
- Continuously learn about industry products, practices, trends, etc.
Requirements:
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and staff members
- Desire and ability to work in a team atmosphere
- Ability to multitask
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Passion for customer service
- Passion for personal growth
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Able to manage projects to completion
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite preferred
