Job Description
A leading chemical company is seeking an Account Manager to manage customer relationships and support business growth. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented professional with experience in sales or account management. Working collaboratively, the new leader will grow accounts by identifying opportunities and supporting customer needs while ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and expand opportunities with existing and prospective customers.
- Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer on pricing, product availability, and new truckload opportunities.
- Partner with the Customer Service team to ensure high customer satisfaction and timely issue resolution, providing guidance and feedback as needed.
- Introduce new products to customers and leverage offerings to grow existing accounts and acquire new business.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, purchasing, operations, technical, and administrative teams to support customer objectives and strengthen key account partnerships.
- Coordinate executive involvement in customer relationship management as appropriate.
- Lead solution development initiatives that address customer needs by aligning all necessary internal stakeholders.
- Clearly communicate monthly volume performance and status updates to the Chief Operating Officer.
- Maintain customer service performance in alignment with company standards.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of communications, offers, and correspondence in the contact database.
- Lead the resolution of customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
- Record and manage sales opportunities in Salesforce.
- Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly sales reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
Requirements:
- Experienced in Chemical Distribution Inside Sales
- 5+ years of sales experience
