Job Description

A rapidly expanding, privately owned engineering and automation company is looking for an Application Developer to join its close-knit, dynamic team. The ideal candidate possesses a strong proficiency in programming languages and a comprehensive grasp of coding methodologies. In a collaborative environment, the selected individual will produce top-tier, fully operational software solutions that align with coding guidelines and meet client specifications.
            
Salary + Additional Benefits: 
•    $100,000-$110,000

Location: Magnolia, TX
Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the architecture, development, maintenance, security, and support of all applications.
  • Interface with customers to understand their requirements. 
  • Collaborate with Engineering team. 
  • Troubleshoot and debug the application.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Application Developer
  • Ability to work in at least one programming language (ex: Swift, Kotlin, JavaScript, Python)
  • Experience with Python/C++
  • Backend Development: Skilled in languages like Python, Ruby, Java, C++, Node.js, etc.
  • Mobile App Frameworks: Familiarity with frameworks like UIKit (iOS), Android SDK, React Native, or Flutter
  • Networking and Security:
    • Understanding networking concepts, DNS, IP addresses, etc.
    • Implementing security measures to protect user data and communications
  • Cloud Services: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for hosting and managing backend services
  • SLAM (System Localization and Mapping)
  • Data Visualization: Python/C++ data visualization libraries (such as Matplotlib and Seaborn)
  • Real-Time Control Systems
  • IoT (Internet of Things)
  • Cross-Platform Development
  • Embedded Systems and Microcontrollers
  • Preferred qualifications include:
    • Industrial knowledge and experience
    • Proficiency in using machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and Keras
    • Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System)
    • Knowledge of computer vision libraries like OpenCV
