A well-established manufacturer of mobile crane equipment for industrial and utility applications is seeking an Industrial Mobile Equipment Painter to join the team. This role supports a repetitive manufacturing shop environment, preparing surfaces through processes such as shot blasting, sanding, and tape masking before completing high-quality paint operations on both component parts and assembled finished products. The Industrial Mobile Equipment Painter is responsible for surface preparation and paint application on component parts and assembled finished products.

Salary: $36-$40/hr
Location: NW Houston, TX
Type of Position: Temp-to-Hire

Responsibilities:

• Utilize rail fed continuous shot blaster to prep unpainted surfaces.
• Utilize pneumatic sander to prep parts for painting.
• Mask surfaces and components for painting.
• Utilize high-volume, low-pressure paint guns and pressure pots to apply primer coat and finished topcoats to component parts and assembled finished product.
• Clean and maintain all painting tools and equipment including sprayers, mixing containers, and mixing equipment to ensure proper working function.
• Wear and use proper personal protective gear and respirator.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

• 10+ years of experience using paint guns
• Experience using conventional paint guns
• Experience using pressure pot
• Experience working with epoxy paints
• Experience working with polyurethane paints
• Submit to and pass a drug screening
• Submit to and pass a background check
• Automotive Painting Experience (preferred)
• Experience painting with Zinc Primer Coatings (preferred)
