Job Description

A stable and innovative manufacturing company is seeking a Welder to join the team. This role supports production, maintenance, and project needs by reading drawings, preparing materials, completing quality welds, and following all safety and workmanship standards. The Welder is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using approved welding techniques and equipment.

Type of Position: Temp-to-Hire


Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and prepare metal materials and components for welding and fabrication.
  • Operate welding equipment using processes such as TIG, stick, or other approved methods.
  • Inspect completed welds for accuracy, alignment, strength, and compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Technical or vocational welding training required
  • Previous welding, fabrication, or metalworking experience required
  • Knowledge of welding processes, tools, materials, and safety practices
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, measurements, and technical instructions
  • Strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to produce quality work independently within required tolerances
  • Welding certification, such as AWS or equivalent, preferred
