Job Description
A well-established manufacturing company with over 50 years in business is seeking a Foundry Operator to join the team. This is an opportunity to join a stable, fast-growing organization operating in a high-temperature industrial environment. The Foundry Operator is responsible for operating and controlling continuous casting and melting processes, ensuring compliance with metallurgical parameters, safety standards, and product quality specifications.

Location: Humble, TX 77396
Type of Position: Direct Hire
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor foundry furnaces and auxiliary equipment from the control panel.
- Verify operating conditions of gas, air, nitrogen, water systems, and cooling equipment.
- Control melting charge composition according to production programs and chemical specifications.
- Execute metallurgical treatments and continuous casting processes following established procedures.
- Monitor critical control points to prevent deviations impacting product quality.
- Identify, report, and document non-conformities in coordination with Quality and Production teams.
- Register production data, downtime, and outputs in ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality Inspectors, and Shift Supervisors for corrective and preventive actions.
- Perform inventory control of raw materials and casting inputs.
- Strictly comply with safety, environmental, and occupational health standards.
Requirements:
- High School diploma (required)
- Technical studies in Foundry, Metallurgy, Industrial Production or related fields (preferred)
- 2-3 years of experience in: Foundry operations, Continuous or vertical casting processes, Metal industries (non-ferrous preferred), High-temperature industrial environments
- Experience operating furnaces and controlling temperatures
- Experience in industrial production under demanding physical conditions
- Spanish - required
- Availability to travel to Peru for training
- Valid passport or willingness to obtain one
