Job Description
A residential homebuilder and development company is seeking motivated sales professionals to join its team as a New Home Consultant. The New Home Consultant is responsible for guiding prospective buyers through the home purchasing process while building strong relationships with Realtors, community partners, and future homeowners. This role offers significant earning potential, comprehensive training, and opportunities for career growth into leadership and training positions.
Salary + Additional Benefits:
- $52,000 annual base salary (Guaranteed during the first 12 weeks of training)
- Transition to commission-based compensation after ramp-up
- First-year earning potential of $100,000 - $150,000+ (uncapped)

Location: Dayton, Texas

Responsibilities:
- Welcome prospective homebuyers and provide an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Consult with buyers to understand their needs and guide them through selecting their new home.
- Demonstrate model homes, available inventory, community amenities, and homesites.
- Build and maintain relationships with Realtors, local businesses, and community partners to generate referrals.
- Proactively develop new business through networking, self-generated prospecting, community events, and outreach.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects using HubSpot CRM.
- Manage the entire sales process from initial inquiry through contract execution.
- Achieve and exceed sales and customer satisfaction goals.
- Partner closely with the Online Sales Consultant and Marketing team to maximize lead conversion.
- Operate each assigned community with an entrepreneurial mindset, taking ownership of business development and customer engagement.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of commissioned sales experience
- Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
- Experience within the automotive, restaurant or consumer sales industries is a huge plus!
- Comfortable networking and generating business outside of inbound opportunities
- Reliable transportation with the ability to travel throughout the assigned community
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Real estate license is not required
- Ability to work a weekend-based schedule (Monday-Friday 9:30 AM-6:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM-6:00 PM, Sunday 1:00 PM-6:00 PM with rotating days off).
