Job Description

Our client in NW Houston is seeking a Financial Director to join their team. The Financial Director will oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Salary & Benefits:

  • $170,000-$190,000

Responsibilities: 
  • Serve as a key strategic finance partner to executive leadership, helping guide financial strategy and support long-term growth initiatives across the organization.
  • Lead enterprise-wide planning and analysis efforts, providing financial insights, scenario planning, and recommendations to support critical business decisions.
  • Act as the central point of coordination for major company initiatives and high-impact projects, partnering cross-functionally with Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Finance, and operational teams.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators, financial metrics, and project milestones to measure progress and support execution of strategic priorities.
  • Oversee the review and validation of long-range financial models, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Analyze the impact of strategic decisions on cash flow, profitability, capital structure, and overall financial performance.
  • Support investment and growth initiatives through financial due diligence, business evaluations, and analysis of potential opportunities.
  • Partner with leadership on financial structuring strategies and provide analysis around investment decisions, funding approaches, and risk considerations.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, reporting, and analyses for senior stakeholders, often managing competing priorities and tight timelines.
  • Take on additional projects and strategic responsibilities as business needs evolve.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field required.
  • 7+ years of experience in strategic finance, corporate planning, FP&A, or similar finance-focused roles.
  • Strong background in lending, financial modeling, long-range planning, and evaluating strategic investment opportunities.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership through financial analysis, reporting, and high-level decision-making initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Experience working within ERP systems.
  • Leadership or team oversight experience.
