Our client in Southwest Houston is seeking a Training Supervisor to join their team! As Trainer the primary purpose of this position is to oversee the new hire orientation and collections training and provide follow up training with existing collectors.

 

Salary: $37,000 - $40,000

Location: Southwest, Houston

 

Responsibilities:

  • Interview and hire new agents
  • Train new agents and release them to the floor when ready (Conduct new hire orientation which includes introduction to the company, tour of facility, new hire paperwork, company policies and procedures)
  • Review two calls from each agent at all locations weekly
  • Meet with Supervisor and Agent when unsatisfactory call quality is discovered through call reviews or other means
  • Prepare Write-up for unsatisfactory call quality and submit to supervisor for enforcement
  • Retrain or continuous training of agents as needed
  • Accumulation and dissemination of all firm, office and client policies to all call center staff
  • Travel to other locations as necessary
  • Conduct FDCPA training for all new hires ensuring successful completion
  • Conduct yearly FDCPA training for the call center
  • Develop and maintain training documentation
  • Conducts training classes on client-specific policies and procedures including client systems
  • Represents company with professional and ethical work standards consistent with the mission and management policy of the company
  • Schedules their team to ensure proper telephone coverage and approves requests for time off and any schedule changes
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role, collections experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong leadership skills
  • Spanish bilingual preferred
  • Ability to change direction as needed to meet needs of customers
  • Strong MS Office skills; ACA Certified Trainer a plus
