Seeking a Sales Manager - Analyzers 

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000

Location: Houston, TX

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Initiates contact with existing- or potential customers.
  • Obtains orders.
  • Adjusts content of sales materials in the broadest sense.
  • Develops and maintains sufficient knowledge about the product portfolio.
  • Develops and maintains sufficient application knowledge.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential sales volume and opportunities.
  • Is capable selling value to the customer rather than just the product.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity-, call and results reports, such as daily call reports, as well as monthly and annual territory analyses and related plans.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Investigates- and reports customer challenges; making recommendations to management.
  • Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Work with the corporate office team to acquire all necessary technical and commercial information to drive the sales process.
  • Work with different customers and parties involved in the sales process: end-users, system integrators, EPC’s, and representatives/distributors.


REQUIREMENTS 

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • The candidate must have a significant level of on-line analyzer knowledge
  • A proven record of technical sales performed, preferably at an analyzer company
  • Being able to deal with long and extensive sales cycles based on technical discussions in fairly high levels of detail with the customer and affiliates
  • Knows the oil and gas market
  • Brings a network in our industry
  • Excellent communicator and presenter
  • Prospecting skills
  • Knows the sales-cycle
  • Experience with analyzers
