Seeking a GeoZone Business Manager 

Location: Katy, TX

Salary: $140,000 - $210,000


  • The Geozone Business Manager is responsible for the planning, organization, leadership and management within the geographical area to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial and Corporate and Product Line growth objectives, while maintaining the highest level of quality and commitment to our clients.
  • The Geozone Business Manager will interface with Vice President-US Geozone & the Global Product Line to determine and assist in the implementation of product line strategies. In addition, this role will manage the white spaces between the different product lines as well as sales. 
  • Provide support to operations in developing geozone business plans. Participate in geozone strategy, research and development requirements, and development priority for new and emerging products 
  • Ensure that that Health, Safety, Environment and Quality are the responsibility of all employees 
  • Demonstrate effective Safety leadership at all times to enhance the organization’s commitment to safety performance 
  • Responsible for maximizing financial results of the product line within assigned geography, including profit and loss, fixed assets, inventory, capital expenditure and receivables 
  • Ensure budgetary and operational expectations are met effectively 
  • Establishment of product line forecast revenues and profits in accordance with prescribed guidelines and ensure effective teamwork to meet or exceed targets 
  • Oversee local product line operations to ensure service safety, quality, and efficiency, and cost-effective management of resources as per objectives 
  • Establish, track, and control cost of goods, operating, and capital budgets 
  • Work with manufacturing and operations in order to manage inventory and asset utilization including recurring demand planning 
  • Ensure compliance with, and commitment to, company processes like Operational Excellence and Performance System, submission and approval of AFEs 
  • Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, operations, global product line leaders and marketing to develop and provide product definitions, as well as be responsive to customer needs and market
  • opportunities 
    Maintain client intimacy to collect and analyze technical, financial, marketing, and sales information for the product line 
  • Advise on product development opportunities 
  • Participate with select clients on current and future business opportunities 
  • Support tender preparations 
  • This includes effective staff leadership, performance management by setting objectives and driving appraisals and communication 
  • Drive strategies for recruitment and retention of key personnel to foster an environment that enables the company to attract and retain a high performing talented workforce 


  • Experience in execution of day to day operations and related projects in Production Optimization Software and/or Automation 
  • Software experience & knowledge should include features & implementation of Production Optimization and/or SCADA technologies 
  • Automation experience & knowledge should include functionality & deployment of Automation Controllers for multiple Artificial Lift systems 
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles 
  • Knowledge of communications and public relation techniques. Ability to develop and deliver professional presentations 
  • Strong organizational and communication skills 
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels of government and clients. Work effectively across a diverse multicultural multilingual community 
  • 10+ oil & gas industry experience 
  • 5-10 years experience in Oil & Gas Software and/or Automation 
  • Preferred to have held a Field Operations Manager position and either a Service Delivery Manager or Technical Sales Manager 

Prefer: Bachelor’s Degree
