Position: Quality Manager

Location: NW Houston, TX

Salary: $55-$65K, Direct Hire

Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM M-F (Some Saturdays)


The Quality Supervisor will be responsible for the overall administration and supervision of processes, functions, and employees within the Quality department. This is a great opportunity for an entry level looking for the next step in their career for long term growth!


  • Bachelor’s Degree from accredited four-year college or university
  • Prior database and inventory/WMS software use required. Microsoft Access or Accellos a plus
  • Intermediate mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Superior interpersonal skills; including oral and written communication, customer service, leadership, and teamwork
  • Capable of planning and organizing priorities using sound judgment, professionalism, and malleability to meet evolving deadlines and deliverable's
  • Self-starter; proactive and motivated with a keen eye for detail, focus on producing quality results, and ability to change approach or method to best fit the situation



  • Review and approve First Article (FA) receipts
  • Ensure that Quality Inspectors and Material Coordinators follow established department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Perform inspection database content review for use in improving product quality and reimbursement tracking for non-conforming inventory
  • Attend weekly meetings with Distribution and Purchasing departments to prepare for upcoming containers; disseminate information to the Quality team for workload planning
  • Provide Senior Engineering + Quality Manager with regular and ad-hoc status updates related to the database, employees, and department activities
  • Ensure thorough training is provided to new employees and existing employees receive regular coaching to optimize workforce and efficiency
  • Review and approve time cards weekly for payroll processing
