Production Line Manager

Position Type: Dire Hire

Position Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 base (Depending on Experience) + Bonus + Profit Sharing

Position Location: Houston, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable and responsible for the assigned product and services line success by managing all aspects of this business to ensure performance objectives and KPIs are met.
  • Develop product line and fulfillment strategy, and process.
  • Must have a verifiable record of achieving exceptional business results.
  • Become trusted partner with the company’s major customers to meet their product needs.
  • Be willing and able to travel up to 30% of the time to conduct customer meetings.
  • Lead customer product and service initiatives, ensuring that the needs of our customers and the marketplace are executed by the engineering team.
  • Lead technical innovation of processes, tools and techniques in electrical engineering, software and possibly mechanical domains.
  • Develop internal processes to meet customer and business objectives.
  • Meet product line P&L objectives.
  • Ensure that all relevant data and information is captured in Salesforce.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science Degree; Masters preferred. MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of equivalent experience
  • Experience running a scrum team with history of superior performance
  • Experience successfully recruiting, growing and leading engineering team
  • Proven experience in business, electronics and software product management
  • International business experience will be a positive and beneficial asset
  • Must have a verifiable record of exceptional business results
  • Be a hands-on, team player with terrific interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and priority setting
  • Must have the motivation and skills to build, retain and lead a winning product development team.
  • Must be able to understand and solve tough technical and business problems with innovative, profit-focused, timely solutions.
  • Ability to listen to the customers, quickly establish a trusted advisor relationship, and then profitably develop the products our customers need.
  • Able to independently plan, organize and execute a profit-focused product line management process.
