Seeking a North American GeoZone Sales Manager

Location: Houston or Odessa / Midland

Salary: $130,000 – $215,000


  • Plan, organize, and control, an assigned product line from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial and corporate growth objectives
  • Oversee and participate in overall product strategy, research and development requirements, development requirements, development priority, analysis of market research, and manufacturing coordination for new and emerging products
  • Manage technical product development, estimates of potential profits, and release to production
  • Will have 15-20 direct reports
  • Conduct marketing analysis to develop product definitions and set launch process, as well as develops pricing strategy
  • Collaborate with wide variety of functional areas such as sales, operations, engineering, marketing, manufacturing and operations to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities
  • Coordinate and develop marketing material, presentations, sales literature, and financial plans
  • Provide financial and technical justification for product selection/justification and definition
  • Prepare product development objectives and schedules for all phases of product development and product launch strategy, including where and when newly developed products are launched
  • Ability to establish, track, and control cost of goods, sold, operating, and capital budgets
  • Continually review progress through product life cycle to ensure attainment of objectives
  • Maintain communication and contacts to collect and analyze technical, financial, marketing, schedule, and sales information for product line
  • Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level


  • Technical or business degree plus 10+ years’ experience or equivalent
  • Must have 5+ years of experience with Artificial lifts
  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • Prefer experience with downhole tools
  • Excellent managerial skills
  • 30% travel required
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with reading, analyzing, and interpreting common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal document
  • Familiarity with mathematical operations such as frequency distributions, test reliability and validity, variance analysis, correlation techniques, and factor analysis
  • Oilfield experience
