Our client is seeking a Marketing Communications Coordinator to join their team!

 

Salary: $50,000 - $55,000

Location: Houston, TX 77056

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create editorial content, design, production and distribution for all printed and/or virtual communications
  • Direct all public relations activities that generate media interest and ensure regular contact with media and appropriate responses to media
  • Manage the website and social media accounts
  • Establish and ensure adherence to the organizations graphics standards and policies across all collateral and marketing mediums
  • Consistently monitor the market for strategic partnership opportunities, as well as for potential threats or competitive information
  • Responsible for all aspects of marketing for events
  • Prepares and distributes news releases, communications, media alerts and other announcements to gain positive media attention for the company
  • Provides proofreading support and input regarding written materials prepared by other staff members
  • Assists with programs and events as requested

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications or related field required
  • Minimum four years’ experience in a Marketing Communications role required
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, Salesforce, Time/project management software
  • Experience in writing and editing professional-level publications and printed materials
  • Strong communications and public relations skills coupled with the ability to influence others in a positive manner
  • Excellent writing, editing skills and problem-solving
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with others and to present ideas effectively, verbally and in writing
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meeting all deadlines, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent public relation skills and exceptional attention to detail
