Guest Services 

Highly motivated and customer service-oriented team members needed for an exciting new resort type development in the North East Houston area. Team members are responsible for superior service to all residents, guests, customers and clients; and are essentially the first response to situations that involve health, safety, emergency response and overall satisfaction to all.

Compensation: $12-$15/hr

Responsibilities

  • Keep safety of all persons and assets on property as the number one priority
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, fees received, program attendance, and daily attendance
  • Complete accurate transactions
  • Ensure all residents and/or guests have accurate and up to date access needs
  • Demonstrate friendliness and politeness always
  • Report all unsafe conditions to supervisor/manager promptly
  • Ensure there are enough supplies and inform manager when supplies are running low
  • Be aware of all rules and regulations for the facility and enforce those rules before allowing entry into the facility
  • Be aware and fully able to recite rates, hours for the facility, and positively represent the facility and partners in appearance, language and demeanor
  • Complete all assigned opening, closing and cleaning duties
  • Maintain a polished, neat and well-groomed appearance while on duty and remain in uniform attire while on duty
  • Be very familiar with established Emergency Action Plan and perform appropriate skills and procedures under this plan 
  • Maintain accurate records of daily sales
  • Assure accurate transactions of money using the cash register and making change
  • Keep areas clean and sanitary always
  • Practice and follow all policies and procedures as stated in the staff manual and directed by managers/supervisors

Requirements

  • High school graduate or general education degree (GED)
  • CPR certified preferred
  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish)
  • Previous customer service experience in a hospitality environment preferred 
  • Thorough knowledge of the policies, procedures, rules, regulations, emergency plans, communication systems, confidentiality, training methods, programming, fee structures, scheduling and especially safety
  • Uphold highest standard of customer service skills with the ability to problem solve
  • High level of technical and internet capability
  • Highly responsible and accountable for actions
  • Ability to work in a public and professional manner with maturity
  • Demonstrate the ability to accurately conduct basic math
  • Proficient with computer systems
  • Commitment to excellence, humility and integrity, measured by attitude, demeanor and actions
  • Ability to make judgments with respect to confidentiality of information and problem solving
  • Must be able to swim 
  • Use good safety awareness and judgment in all aspects of the position
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as required
