An oil and gas services company is looking for an Electronic Mechanical Technician to join their team. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply!

Salary: $20/HR - $26/HR
Location: Houston, Texas

Shift: 630AM-3PM


  • Under general supervision, performs mechanical assembly or electronic assembly work on moderate to complex assemblies. 
  • Assists in training and developing junior personnel. Performs testing of assemblies.
  • Follows work process: work orders, production drawings, sample assemblies or verbal instructions. 
  • Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, solders, cements, press fits or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place. 
  • Mounts, installs, attaches or performs similar operations with components or subassemblies into assemblies. 
  • Connects component lead wires to printed circuit or routes, and connects wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals and contact points. 
  • Performs assembly tasks such as sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching and color serializing parts and assemblies. 
  • Adjusts or trims materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics. 
  • Performs appropriate testing, when required, according to testing procedure. 
  • Conducts visual inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards. 
  • Understands and complies with Company and statutory standards, policies and procedures in respect of quality, health, safety and environment.


  • Two to Six years of electro mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • ISO awareness.
  • Preferred experience in JDE, Imarks and Meridian software.
  • Radiation Awareness.
  • Preferred skills in Forklift & Crane operation.
  • Preferred knowledge in operation of Torque Machine
  • Read and understand wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings and follow instructions.
  • Crimping, Low and High Temp soldering techniques.
  • Proficient with use of multimeters & hand tools.
  • Requires PC Skills, knowledge of MS Office. (Excel and Word)
  • Good verbal communication skills, and ability to interact with all levels of co-workers.
