Murray Resources is hiring for 2-3 Business Development Representatives for a fast-growing software company in downtown Austin.  The ideal candidate will be able to convert inbound, warm, and legacy leads into qualified leads. This is a great opportunity with a lot of growth potential.

 

Business Development Representative

Location: Austin – 78701

Salary: $38k-$42k plus quarterly bonuses based on setting up 75 meetings per quarter

Type: Direct Hire

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Enterprise Salespeople to drive new business from SME’s to the largest Fortune 100 companies across the United States and Canada.
  • Comfortable making cold calls and be able to engage with middle and senior level managers within IT departments.
  • Build a pipeline of opportunities for the Enterprise Salespeople to convert through outbound Spring campaigns.
  • Convert new inbound and marketing generated leads into qualified opportunities by establishing the scope and size of the organization.
  • Strategize with team to create and execute personalized campaigns to infiltrate into target market segments.
  • Develop market and product knowledge through engagement with clients, and relay that information back to the business and greater sales team in person and via salesforce.com.
  • Produce and report measurable sales activity results on a weekly basis.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a business development representative/inside sales position within software sales.
  • Ability to self-motivate with a passionate, results-driven focus for achieving results.
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to learn and use new concepts and tools quickly.
  • Excellent written, verbal and listening skills demonstrated through emails, phone calls, client webinars, internal meetings, and on-site presentations.
  • Able to work both autonomously and with a greater team environment.
  • A questioning nature and the desire to learn.
  • Prove ability to influence others with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills both in person and digitally as well as a knack for establishing creditability.
  • Comfortable handling client objections and negotiation skills.
