Pay Rate: $80K - $120K Base (Depending on Experience)
Location: Dallas, TX or Houston, TX
Position Type: Direct Hire
• Develop solid business relationships within the various decision-makers and influencers at all levels at each target account
• Understand each target customer’s business model, map their organization and identify their unique technology needs
• Engage local vendor field representatives, collaborating on sales efforts and partnerships with target accounts including uncovering new account opportunities
• Sell complex technical products and/or services across all product lines in the assigned territory.
• Perform as a product expert to develop and present sales proposals and systems solutions.
• Partner with key decision-makers to close complex technical sales.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline and at least 10 years’ experience selling high tech products or solutions with at least 8 years sales experience specifically in the high performance computing industry.
• Strong knowledge and experience with industry leaders, customer management and decision makers.
• Proven track record at influencing large scale solicitations and procurements for favorable outcome.
• Familiarity with technical computing customers in the territory, HPC and AI concepts, and storage based products
• Prior experience selling industry leading technology solutions for HPE, Dell or Lenovo
• Experience selling in the data analytics industry is ideal.
• Ability to persuade others in sensitive situations without damage to the relationship.
• Excellent communication skills, customer relationship building skills/expertise/opportunity generation and a self-starter, with initiative and motivation.
• Ability to handle multiple opportunities on a routine basis.
