Job Description
A leading Italian company in the machine and mold manufacturing industry is seeking a Site Manager to oversee facility operations. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in the automatic machines industry with demonstrated skills in handling complex technical challenges and upholding superior operational standards. Working collaboratively, the new leader will boost operational efficiency by streamlining processes and optimizing resource allocation while maintaining rigorous safety and quality controls.
Salary: $80,000-$85,000

Responsibilities:
- Provide after-sales technical support, ensuring timely, error-free, and cost-effective results.
- Respond to customer calls and emails, managing technical support issues.
- Plan and coordinate technical interventions, managing internal and external technicians.
- Maintain workflow by monitoring processes, setting variables, and implementing cost reductions.
- Open and close the facility, responsible for machinery worth up to $1 million.
- Use showroom machines for client demonstrations.
- Organize open houses and client visits, supporting commercial staff.
- Maintain quality standards and train team members.
- Participate in creating or improving safety standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Serve as the link between customers, technicians, commercial partners, and departments.
- Participate in exhibitions and conferences.
- Support infrastructure development and staff hiring.
- Additional Job Accountabilities (waiting back office).
- Manage spare parts, logistics, and customer payment collection.
- Source suppliers for standard components.
- Handle associated services paperwork through QuickBox and internal procedures.
- Oversee post-delivery servicing, repairs, and spare parts.
- Organize paperwork related to sales, spare parts, training, and fees.
Requirements:
- Preferred associate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering technology, or equivalent
- At least 4 years of experience as a Site Manager or field service technician in the automatic machines industry
- Familiarity with QuickBox
- Fluency in English and Spanish; knowledge of Italian is a plus
- Willingness to tackle issues in a small satellite facility
- Focus on customer satisfaction, timely delivery, and budget adherence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical technical drawings
- Problem-solving skills with a creative approach
- Ability to establish and evaluate monthly KPIs
- Project management skills, with a focus on timely completion
- Awareness of budget performance
- Strong customer focus
- Hands-on approach to technical problem-solving
- Excellent teamwork and teambuilding skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
