Customer Project Administrator 

Summary:

An innovative energy solutions company in the SW Houston area has a customer Project Administrator. This person is responsible for providing outstanding customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively.

Position Type: Direct Hire

Location: Houston, TX (Southwest)

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000.

Responsibilities:

  • Processes customer orders/changes/returns, while providing timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status
  • Provides timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns.
  • Partners with the sales team to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations.
  • Act as coordinator and Point of Contact for customer throughout entire organization
  • Communicate and articulate prospect/customer needs to Operations and Sales teams and others as needed.
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Suggest solutions as needed for customer support.
  • Will provide customer service and maintain strong customer relationships by working hands-on with the team to Identify, Administrate & Resolve, Manufacturing / Engineering issues that may arise with a customer order
  • Manage Build to Stock Inventory Levels
  • Act as Prototype Coordinator during the Product Development Phase (PDP)
  • Perform all functions for Quote Development:  Documentation review, build BOM, converse with engineering, sales, customer as needed; Provide initial cost/price evaluation and gain approvals.
  • Create and monitor all Engineering Change Control Documents:  Engineering Change Notice (ECN), Temporary Engineering Deviation (TED), Job Process Clarifications (JPC)

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree with either a technical or service oriented focus and/or 3-5 years’ similar experience
  • Must have strong customer service / communication / interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to multi task and work either independently or as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in business discussions are a must
  • Must have a strong background in the following

    • Technical Capacity
    • Documentation Skills
  • Self-motivated and self-managed, and the ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere with a high level of accountability.
