Job Description

A leading solar energy provider is looking for a B2C Collections Representative to collect on past due residential accountants.  The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong knowledge of FDCPA, state, and federal laws and regulations. We’re looking for a team player who partners well with other departments and has the ability to problem solve quickly!

Location: Memorial – In-Office
Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:
  • Manage assigned accounts and plan a course of action to recover past due accounts.
  • Communicate with customers via inbound/outbound calls. Verify customer information in database.
  • Locate customers using skip trace sites, internet, and through the credit bureau.
  • Toggle between multiple system platforms to investigate and resolve issues.
  • Supply the customer with various options including payment plans and contract modification.
  • Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable.
  • Comply with policies and procedures and adhere to FDCPA, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Requirements:
  • Highschool diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in consumer collections required
  • Spanish bilingual is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of FDCPA regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Office, skip trace platforms and quick to catch onto new software
  • Availability to work between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. (8-hour schedule TBD)
