Job Description

A growing personal injury law firm in Bellaire is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their growing litigation group.   The right candidate will have 1-2 years of plaintiff personal injury experience, be eager to learn, and highly organized. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to jump right in! Must be licensed to practice in Texas.
                               
Salary: $100,000-130,000 DOE
Location: Houston, TX - Bellaire
Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research, draft demands, and send out demands to insurance companies
  • Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and trial as necessary.
  • Prepare pleadings and discovery for trial
  • Assist with negotiations as needed

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school required
  • 1-2 years of plaintiff personal injury experience
  • Spanish bilingual preferred
  • Experience with Filevine is preferred
  • Must be able to work in office Monday – Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
